Alicia & Sean | West Point, NY Wedding

I think one of the things that stood out to me most about this day, was the heartfelt attention to detail that both Alicia and Sean put into their magical wedding day held at West Point. They gave personalized, thoughtful gifts to so many throughout the day (me included!) and I could see that that was one of their love languages, how they showed all of their family & friends they appreciated them being there.

Both Sean & Alicia started their day by getting ready at the always gorgeous Thayer Hotel. I couldn't sense much nerves amongst them, mostly just excitement and happiness. (Alicia's smile is so contagious, it's crazy.) After a ceremony at West Point's Most Holy Trinity Catholic Chapel, we headed to Trophy Point for formal portraits where the group did amazing! It was incredibly hot this day, like miserably dripping sweat hot, but no one complained (at least not that I could hear ;)) and we all just kept celebrating the fact that these two sweethearts were married.

The West Point Club hosted their fun reception, which held personalized and meaningful traditions and surprises. I loved watching Sean and Alicia dance together. I got the feeling that Sean is a more serious, stoic kind of guy. But seeing the way he looked at Alicia throughout the night, I saw the absolute love pouring out of him for her- he was enthralled with her.

After a sparkler send-off, guests were treated to a goodie box of McDonald's French fries and a Coke, which was a perfect wrap-up to a perfect day.
