Kristen + Josie | Carolina Beach Wedding

Kristen has been a long-time friend of mine (whaddup Bonefish Grill!) so getting to shoot her & Josie's wedding day was a true honor and joy. I shot their engagement session last summer and got to witness what a passionate, easy love they have, so I was so pumped for their wedding day.

Their morning ceremony was held right on the beach (y'all know I love some Carolina beaches!) surrounded by their closest loved ones. The sky & water was a perfect shade of blue, and although the beach was already crowded- Kristen & Josie only had eyes for each other while saying I Do. After the ceremony, guests headed into Oceanic Restaurant to enjoy a delicious brunch & Bloody Mary's, while celebrating the newlyweds.

I absolutely loved what a chill, relaxed atmosphere the entire day was. I think it really suited Kristen & Josie's personalities and relationship- calm, assured, go-with-the-flow, and just enjoy it all. No stress necessary. After an afternoon of playing on the beach and relaxing, guests were invited to head to Carolina Beach Boardwalk for dinner, games, and hanging out. By that time, though, the kiddos were wiped, so they called it a night- heading back to their beach house a family of 5.
