West Point's campus was covered in a fresh blanket of white from the previous day's snowstorm. The sky was a clear, brilliant blue and although quite cold, it wasn't unbearable. And while I normally don't like shooting in such harsh sunlight, I was thrilled to play with the light dancing off the snow. These two bounced up that morning all smiles and giggles, disregarding the wind whipping around us. It was then that I knew we were going to have a good time. If you can laugh, truly laugh, in a short dress in a foot of snow, you're my kind of easy-going.
Stephanie & Brenton have been doing the long distance thing for a LONG, long time, and are probably literally counting down the days until Brenton's West Point graduation and their upcoming wedding. They described themselves as silly and playful, and as pretty much everyone says, "awkward." (Guys, you aren't awkward. And if you are- good, so am I. We'll take that awkward and turn it into magic.) So I think we got a wonderful mixture of playful and fun while showing a softer, and more intimate side as well.
